Garwood Landscape

Hired by homeowner Louise Garwood, Native Spaces was
responsible for building the stonework elements of her lakeside
deconstructivist garden sequence. Linear gestures divide
descending terraces which move from formal courtyard through
planting beds and patios to meadow and finally the lakeside
lawn. The construction program included two walls and a
corresponding walkway. Three steeles were added to serve as  
temporary vertical elements marking gateways, and exhibiting
the theme of continuity.
